Harvest offers a handful of classes that are not only fun but educational. We want to help our community build greater self-sufficiency. Our classes are family-oriented and empowering! We offer youth enrichment, community outreach, and adult education classes.

  • Homemade Classes

    Join Gritty Farm Girl, Gina Walker, and Harvest for some treats and a lesson on how to be more self-sustainable through homesteading skills.

  • Couples Cooking Classes

    Have a romantic night at Harvest with your significant other and learn how to make a dish from scratch! (Minimum of 3 couples )

  • Children's Gardening Club

    Here at Harvest, every first and third Saturday is dedicated to a lesson led by the Brazoria County Master Gardeners. All are welcome to come and learn about the skills of gardening. Children can look forward to becoming certified Junior Master Gardeners! The master gardeners love to teach people of all ages how to maintain a bountiful garden. (9:30 - 11 am / 11 am - 12 pm Q&A)

  • Mommy & Me

    All family members are welcome to our Mommy and Me community event. We offer open sensory time for the little ones and a coffee bar for the grown-ups to enjoy together. With fun crafts and a good snack, it is always a fun and relaxing time! Wednesday (10-11 am open play time/ 11 am -12 pm Family craft activity) Classes will start again the week of September 16th, 2024.

  • Weekday Enrichment

    Join us in serving our homeschool community with education in life, environment, agriculture, and food science. Tuesday from 2-3:30 pm we learn a fun science or art lesson that goes along with the season. (Taught by TEA-certified science teacher, Harvest staff member, and volunteers.) Classes will start again the week of September 16th, 2024.

This month we are going to focus on spreading the love into February. All supplies is provided just bring a friend or two for a fun day of canning different spreads and dips that you can easily give as a gift to your loved one. There will be lunch provided for those who stay the full time.

Mommy & Me

We will make the birds a little treat for our first Mommy and Me of the winter season. Chamane, a Master Gardener, will show us how to make winter bird wreaths for our feather friends. These wreaths make a great gift, or you can hang them up at home and see what birds come knocking at your door. Mommy & Me starts with 30 minutes of play and socializing, then snack, then activity time!

Open Volunteer & Children's Garden Club

The Children’s Garden Club ran by The Master Gardeners of Brazoria County will be starting a new season. Now The Learn, Eat, Grow, GO! club, will be on the first and the third Saturday of each month. The children will be learning about all kinds of different garden crafts, techniques, and tools to use back at home in their own garden.

Along with the Children’s Garden Club we will be having open volunteer hours from 9am - 12 pm. You, a friend, or the whole family can get involved here, Harvest has a volunteer opportunity for everyone. Learn more about where their food comes from and the steps it takes to get to your plate!

We will have the SPCA vaccine clinic, pet art, hay rides around the farm, plenty of vendors to visit, and an art show presented by our children who attend our weekday enrichment classes.
