This year for our annual spring festival we will be having a fishing tournament from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. sign-up will be provided below. There will be three separate Easter egg hunts for children, teenagers, and dogs. The children’s garden club will also be doing a craft for the kids to enjoy. Fill your day with fun for the whole family at our spring festival.

This month we are going to focus on spreading the love into February. All supplies is provided just bring a friend or two for a fun day of canning different spreads and dips that you can easily give as a gift to your loved one. There will be lunch provided for those who stay the full time.

For this week, Mommy and Me, we are celebrating the new addition to our garden, the reading corner. Ocean and Shar will share why this outdoor library is so important and dear. In celebration, we will be having a teepee pajama party with cookies, hot cocoa, and movies.

Since we had so much fun with our other two gastronomy classes we decided to give you more! This class will be centered around the science of sugar and ice.

We will make the birds a little treat for our first Mommy and Me of the winter season. Chamane, a Master Gardener, will show us how to make winter bird wreaths for our feather friends. These wreaths make a great gift, or you can hang them up at home and see what birds come knocking at your door. We are back! We hope your holidays were filled with joy and we are so excited to start Winter classes. Our first class will be taught by one of our lovely families, The Baahs. They will be showing use how to make fun relaxing origami.

The Children’s Garden Club ran by The Master Gardeners of Brazoria County will be starting a new season. Now The Learn, Eat, Grow, GO! club, will be on the first and the third Saturday of each month. The children will be learning about all kinds of different garden crafts, techniques, and tools to use back at home in their own garden.

Along with the Children’s Garden Club we will be having open volunteer hours from 9am - 12 pm. You, a friend, or the whole family can get involved here, Harvest has a volunteer opportunity for everyone. Learn more about where their food comes from and the steps it takes to get to your plate!

It’s time! Our annual Fall festival, paired with the SPCA of Brazoria County, is back. We will have the SPCA vaccine clinic, pet art, hay rides around the farm, plenty of vendors to visit, and an art show presented by our children who attend our weekday enrichment classes. We would love to see you there and hope you check out our new pantry items!
